It misleads your average person to believing we can't do ANYTHING to bring this under control eventually. I guess I should just be happy the media is actually giving this some air time. In fact, global warming is a combination of anthropogenic and natural warming. Both contribute, and you are wrong to say GW is “caused” by humans. Only some of it is caused by global warming.
