					<description>I'm a little surprised to hear about this report. Don't get me wrong, I'm 100 percent in favor of alternative fuel vehicles, but the Prius is a very expensive automobile - much more than high-mileage workhorses like the Honda Civic, for example - and when it hits the 100,000-mile mark, it's gonna need a new battery, and those guys are expensive. According to Consumer Reports, it's doubtful that most folks will make up in gas savings what they shelled out in purchase price. (Though obviously, the reason to buy a Prius is not necessarily saving money, but the environment.)</description>
