		<description>We need to increase the tax to $150/ton.  The government can then redistribute this money to clean technology companies.   For example, I have an invention for solar powered tricycles and I could use the money to help build and market my tricycles.</description>

		<description>I agree this bill is too weak. However, my thinking about safety valves changed once I realized that a safety valve is really just a mechanism for turning a cap-and-trade system into a carbon tax. Of course, we need to consider whether a cap or a tax is the right way to go, but that&#039;s a more subtle question, and there appear to be some good arguments in favor of the tax.</description>
