		<description>Bingo!  PHEV&#039;s are &quot;the&quot; short term answer.  This is why I keep saying that the US federal government should be funneling much more R&amp;D money into batteries than they are.  Better/cheaper battery technology, whether the technology is lithium-ion, ultracapacitors, or whatever, will have a much greater impact on our energy and environmental situation in the next 10 to 20 years than anything else.</description>
