		<description>I&#039;m glad you&#039;re raising this issue, Joe.  Of all the misinformation out there, it is ironic that the most serious is from the IPCC report.  True, it&#039;s not their fault, and if we had good reporters, they would do a little digging and know that the IPCC report was outdated the day it was released.

But there is another interesting discrepency in the sea-level debate.  There is very good empirical data from the geoplogic record that shows that in the past, sea levels rose by 20 feet for the kind of warming we&#039;re predicting.  I&#039;m afraid we&#039;ve become the kind of folks that stay up late at night worrying whether reality can conform to theory.

Why we take the reults of models and dismiss reality is beyond me.</description>
