					<description>Joe, please name the other witnesses invited to the hearing.  Energy Subcommittee staff could not provide names.  I'm curious.

And, coal to liquids offers nothing to the nation or global environment if the process(es) is not CO2 neutral.  The coal mining, transport, cleaning and prep are of less concern when measured against the 1.2 billion ton industry's impact today and growing larger.

I have additional comments coming soon but would like to know who you will be sparring with.</description>

					<description>Are you planning to advocate ethanol and/or other biofuels?  I ask because there are some serious environmental considerations regarding biofuels as well, which need to be stared in the face.  Topsoil depletion, competition with food for arable land, future productivity decreases due to climate change, etc.</description>
