And, no, I don't watch 'Heroes'. Actually, I feel a lot smarter since I threw out my TV. And my kids do better in school, as well. I urge everyone to try it. Watching a lot of TV is a like smoking a lot of pot. It won't kill you, but it kinda makes you stupid. The very first global warming movie was probably “Soylent Green”, by the way.

Stewart. I found myself thinking all through the book, "I can't believe this guy wrote all this stuff back in 1949!" I wrote a review/commentary on the book on my web site at www dot samadhisoft dot com. Once you get there, search for "Earth Abides". Oh and I'm a 4400 fan as well. What can I say?
