I encourage anyone interested in this topic to click on my name to read a summary of the report released today (I am the lead author) in Australia about bushfires and climate change in southeast Australia.

A one line summary of our findings:

Observations over the past 5 fire seasons in southeast Australia have consistently exceeded the fire danger predictions made by two state-of-the-art climate models made for the 2050 business-as-usual emission scenarios.
