The drought in Atlanta has been caused by politics, not global warming.

Too much whiskey, maybe. Or, he/she is not paying attention to the news of the day.

I suggest he/she go tangoing over to Jeff Fleck's blog at

http://inkstain.net/fleck/

and see a map of US river flow on this date. Seems politics is pouring free like whiskey at the wake.

Ah, yes--the clarion call of politics! One of the very last refuges of deniers. When the evidence is overwhelming that the effects of GW or peak oil are here, then they scramble for a way to blame politics and not the fundamental reasons.

Well of course it's politics - don't you guys realize humans are in control of everything. It's about HUMANS. It's not about 'unrenewable resources'. Nature? C'mon! The earth was created for HUMANS. The UNIVERSE was created for HUMANS. We can 'beat' this, we just need to do MORE of the same that we've been doing. It isn't that what we've been doing is what got us here, it's that we haven't done ENOUGH of it... So what we need to do is make more humans, dig more holes, cut down more stuff, kill off more stuff, burn more stuff... OK back to reality; us primates are just boned, seriously. We are infested with idiots in powerful positions because they're obsessive about storing nuts and climbing the primate hierarchy. If you don't understand the above sarcasm... it's because you're one of the idiots.
