Dano,

I guess that puts it all in perspective. Thanks for the insight.

Let me take a shot in the dark: You don't work in the private sector, do you?

I don't understand why you guys tolerate it.

And I don't understand the need for it, if you really have the science behind you.

Good guess, Joe. I dislike pretty much all politicians. Some are worse than others. And I really really dislike dishonesty, from anybody.

I'm just not as forgiving of lies and propaganda as you are, that's all. Sorry if it makes you uncomfortable.

Ron, all you are doing is name calling. Name calling doesn't accomplish anything except to "remove all doubt" according to the old saying (often attributed to Mark Twain). If you are serious about trying to influence, and you doubt the science, then try a serious debate of the science (with citations). If you do, you might find your arguments rebutted in a way that changes your mind.

You also seem to be under the impression that climate science is a house of cards and that all it takes is to find one small thing and the whole thing comes tumbling down. I reality, the science is far more robust than that; there are so many independent confirming observations that you would have to demolish a dozen before the edifice even started to lean. I don't think that is possible, which is why I believe in climate science. Little changes come and go all the time in science without changing the big picture; that is the way science works.

If you do try posting a serious challenge to global warming science, please run it by http://www.skepticalscience.com/argument.php before you do, since the top 47 denier arguments are already debunked there.

All so negative, knowing full well that doing nothing will lead to the eventual demise of all of US.
Easy to throw stones from the height of your moral soap boxes made of jello? What have you done for ANYBODY - EVER? Your statements prove you are too comfortable in your ignorance to even consider the possibility that there may be another side to the issues. Classic right.
Be negative against all the science if you must. I don't really have a big interest in saving a world so full of people (like you) that are so intent on destroying themselves all the while carrying the hubris of the school yard bully.
Those of us that "know" understand that your statements are wraught of ingnorance, zero self esteem and an unwillingness to provide an Earth for our children to live on and it's ONLY for those children that I even care to consider the consequences of my life and it's impact on the Earth's health.
So be at peace with the world you've built in your head. Be aware, however, that world has nothing to do with reality.
Argue about all the points of minutiae, bring up obscure, irrelevant points if you wish... just don't bitch when the Earth pukes on your pathetic beliefs.
