That seems unlikely to me but it would allow effective policies to be put in place.  But they must be maintained, this will be an intergenerational effort.  Control of Congress and the White House will change.  More Republicans and others like Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) must be brought aboard.</description>

					<description>There was a good article in the New York Times today on the democratic attempt at to get to 60 voting democratic.   (2 are independents who vote democratic)    22 Senators up for reelection are Republicans and only 12 Democrats.   It looks like a few of the Republican Senators are vulnerable and only a one Democrat.    It’s will still be hard to do.</description>
