I thought about it and I came up with everybody stop releasing carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. I hope yours is more complete than that.

Like in stop breathing ?
All other "solutions" are equally feasible.

No rush on trying to cover the solutions. It is important to give time for each to digest. As a scientist some of my publications have come under attack from expected sources. I found that the paper I received the most compliments on ever, was a response to a bitter attack, in which I remained completely on the high road, disproved the items they contended, without getting into motives or even hardly mentioning the critics. Lesson, stick to the science and ignore motives when trying to identify science mistakes. It is nigh impossible to do both at once, and your readers can only conflate the two goals.

Joe, the paper in question was a 1997 published response on glacier mass balance measurement methods. I use crevasse stratigraphy which had been avoided in the past. Recently there has been significant flak regarding the concept of glacier disequilibrium explained here

and here
good layman's version with nice pictures. http://www.mountaineers.org/nwmj/07/071_Glaciers.html
