<description>Gingrich and Kerry squared off for a climate debate last year and Gingrich sounded almost sincere. He said global warming needed urgent action. But, of course, it turns out he says what we urgently need are more of the same policies that brought us here.

Newt has a new love; western oil shale. I signed up for some of Newt&#039;s e-mail alerts.
Here is his last one. He is promoting &#039;responsible&#039; oil shale production.
That idea makes clean coal look positively sudsy in contrast.
He is also stressing the &#039;positive&#039; message. No more gloom and doom, just think happy thoughts and dream of magic ponies!

Today on Leading the Majority - 2pm ET on Rightalk.com-
Glenn Vawter of the National Oil Shale Association and author Jon Gordon
Hosted by Rick Tyler (R), Newt&#039;s Spokesperson, and Vince Haley (L), Research Director for Newt Gingrich at the American Enterprise Institute.

This week Rick and Vince welcome Glenn Vawter, Executive Director of the National Oil Shale Association. Mr. Vawter will discuss the resurgence in oil shale development and how we can responsibly reduce petroleum imports and increase our nation&#039;s energy and national security.

Rick and Vince will also be joined by Jon Gordon, speaker, consultant and author of the new book, The No Complaining Rule: Positive Ways to deal with Negativity at Work. Jon will talk about how this rule applies to politics in 2008 and how our nation can achieve real change by focusing on positive solutions.
