Congrats Joe. You do an invaluable service, and maintain an impossibly high standard. Do keep up the humor and fun accompanying photos, too.

While I like realclimate sometimes for the technical details, climateprogress is where I always go first--and where I learn the most. I happened on this site a couple of months ago after first reading "Cool It", then discovering Bjorn Lomborg cherry-picked his facts and was basically full of s---. I was thrilled to find a site which had a strong point of view backed up by solid science. I still am.

Congratulations and keep up the fine work! I refer interested family and friends to this site.

I was going to say something after Brewster's comment, but then I decided against it for some reason. Now that you bring it up, I will say something.

You know your traffic better than I do, so you know how much you are preaching to the choir, and how much you are directly influencing people. On the other hand, even if you are preaching to the choir, your blog is very useful. To people who aren't skeptics, you provide not just news, but reasons. I read your blog not because of your opinions, but your ability to communicate them and back them up. As someone with a math and science background, I like that you can talk with numbers.Even as a member of the choir, you have influenced my opinions. While I wouldn't make you the only one I read, you are quickly becoming my favorite.

Joe: I really appreciate it when you have some good facts and reasoned analysis. Your points about plug in hybrids are brilliant. I don't always agree but I do learn. But sometimes you move to much into pure advocacy, and I'm no looking for a cheerleader.
