Great post -- would be great to see the MSM actually dealing in facts and substance rather than horse race stuff.

Or if you don't have facts, at least a rational, coherent statement or question.

I'm new to this web site, and to be honest a recent convert from the fence sitter category, but I don't think I'm wrong in seeing a strong lean - to put it mildly - toward Obama and away from Mc Cain. Fine with me but as far as I can see neither one comes anywhere close toward supporting a program that might actually do any good. 550+ppm here we come.

A wise man once said, "never fall in love with a politician, they'll break your heart every time."

Obama might win on the 'lesser of two evils' scale but as far as I can see he's no more worth our trust on this vital issue than is McCain.

As has been noted many times the public just isn't ready to listen. My great fear is that they won't pay attention until it's too late. At which point Congress will play the blame game and go on a which hunt while whatever time is left to mitigate the most severe effects of climate change will be pissed away in politically acceptable half measures and attempts to cope with the immediate crisis deJour.

Somebody please show me where I'm wrong.
